Some Of My Duty Stations

First a little Info. I've been in the Navy for a little over 10 years. This is a collection of some of the different places I've been stationed and the aircraft I've worked on.

Whidbey Island - This was one of the hardest places to get used to but also one of the most scenic places in the U.S.

This is a picture of the Deception Pass Bridge. It's  the only road on to Whidbey Island.

An EA-6B Prowler, the type aircraft flown by VAQ-309.

Selfridge - This is a small Air Facility that was just out side of Detroit.

This is the Squadron Patch for VP-93.

A picture a VP-93 P-3B, Orion flying over downtown Detroit

New Orleans - Home of the world famous Mardis Gras, what else can you say.

This is the Logo for COMMANDER NAVAL AIR RESERVE FORCE where I worked in New Orleans for four years

Kaneohe Bay - What can I say??  You can't beat Hawaii, another breath taking duty station.

The C-20G Gulfstrem IV flown by VR-51 out of MCBH Kaneohe Bay.

Millington - This used to be the home to the Aviation "A" Schools.

Point Mugu - Just North of Los Angeles, some really good weather and place for Cruising.

My original orders put me in VP-65, but they decommissioned shortly after.  This is where I picked up Chief.

VR-55 is the command I transferred to when VP-65 shut down.  We fly the monstrous C-130 Hercules.
